This is a great recipe if you’re just learning how to cook with cedar plank. We sell all sizes of planks in the store: from whole fish, individual portioned fillet and also cedar paper. Spice up your dinner with a little smoke. – Jen
1 Cedar plank (Presoaked for at least 2 hrs and up to 12 hrs)
2 Salmon Filets (6oz)
1 Tbsp Sesame oil
1.5 Tbsp Brown sugar
½ tsp Dried Dill weed
2 tsp Sesame seeds
1 Tbsp Water
1 tsp Soy sauce
- Preheat oven to 350F
- In a bowl mix the sesame oil, brown sugar, dill weed, and sesame seeds. Stir in the water and the soy sauce to make it liquid. Spoon the mixture over the salmon so that it is fully coated.
- Place the salmon skin side down on the plank.
- Bake the salmon for 16-20 mins, until the filets can be flaked with a fork.
