Mexican Baked Halibut

This is a fun recipe you can prepare with your kids.  Remember to have a little more salsa and cornchips on the side for snacking while putting your meal together – Jen


2 Halibut Filets (6 oz)
½ cup Salsa (choose your heat level)
¼ cup Corn chips (lightly crushed)
½ cup Aged Cheddar cheese (grated)
½ Avocado (peeled, pitted and sliced)
1/8 cup Sour cream


  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Place halibut filets in a prepared baking dish. Pour the salsa over top of the fish and sprinkle evenly with the cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 14-16 mins.
  • Garnish the halibut with the corn chips, the sliced avocado and the sour cream.
