Tuna Tartare

Tuna Tartare

Here are a few seafood canapés that are not Salmon related.  Each recipes are very easy to put together and you can find most of the ingredients at our store and your local grocers. - Jen

* This recipe belongs to John Bishop and Dennis Green, and is taken from Simply Bishop’s, which is one of my favorite cookbooks.
 

   250 g Tuna
   1/2 bunch of Cilantro (chopped)
   4 Sprigs Fresh Mint (chopped)
   1 tsp Asian Chili garlic Sauce
   1 tsp Ginger (finely grated)
   2 Tbsp Honey
   1 Tbsp Lime juice
   1 Tbsp Fish Sauce
   1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
   1 Tbsp Mirin
   1/4 cup Toasted Sesame Seeds
   1 box Rice crackers
 

 
  • Slice and dice the fresh tuna into very small pieces. Place into a bowl.
  • Add all of the other ingredients and mix well.
  • Serve 1 Tbsp of Tuna tartare onto each cracker. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve.
