Fresh Wild BC sockeye fillets

I ordered 10 lbs of sockeye fillets, vacuum sealed individually. The order was delivered to my door at the time arranged. The fish was packaged well and looked fresh and bright red as sockeye should be. The packages were packed on ice and had remained very cold. As I wasn't able to use it immediately I placed it immediately in the freezer.
Later I removed a package and thawed it as per the direction given. The fish smelled very fresh and tasted wonderful!
I was amazed at the size of the fillets - that must have been a very large sockeye.

Three large fillets perfectly vacuumed sealed. Ate one of the fillets fresh and it was delicious! We eat a lot of sockeye and this was the best I’ve ever tasted! Now I’m looking forward to trying the frozen fillets and seeing how their taste compares.

Wow this udon is incredible. I can’t get over how amazing this is. The uni pasta sauce is so flavourful and so full of uni. The udon is so chewy. It’s waaaaay better than more expensive restaurant variations. I am obsessed.

I wish the instructions made note that were about thawing directly AFTER delivery because 1 hour is not cutting it if you have thrown them in the freezer.
